Thoughts for Health
Are you a perpetual Worrier?
Do you dwell on your illnesses or dis-ease?
Are you ready to take responsibility for your health?
Then here is as good a place to start as any!
Every thought you think is created by choice or habit
Every thought you think creates your health and circumstances!
Again really think about that, you can choose your thoughts and therefore you create your health and happiness!
Your thoughts are absorbed by your very being right down to the molecular level which then has either a positive or negative effect on your entire body. That is Scientific Fact.
Any negative thoughts harboured long enough will end up nurturing ill health, resentment is a prime candidate.
Others are:
- Being Critical
- Judging people harshly
- Being unforgiving
- Hate
- Jealousy
All theses negative thoughts bring negative stress filled feelings – Which is Bad News for your Health. Just ask yourself now, and answer yourself truthfully, do you dwell on any of there negative thoughts? Mmmm…….
Try this Example
When you think or feel negatively about anything your whole body tenses up in reaction to the negative thoughts which then puts your body under strain. Try this simple exercise:
Think about someone you love, be it your partner, your child, or even a movie star, Really let yourself go with these positive thoughts. Note how your body feels, relaxed and harmonized. Hold on to this for a moment.
Now think about someone you resent, or a situation you are uncomfortable with, let yourself go with this negative image for a moment. Observe how your body feels now, you will be at very least tense while thinking these negative thoughts about the person or situation you have an issue with.
You see what I mean, if you dwell on negative thoughts about, yourself, someone else or even a situation, you are putting your body under stress which, as you have now just experienced, obviously affects your health.
The “tricky” part is that a lot of the time we are normally not even aware we are doing this, it has become Habitual!!! You can however choose to change that.
Changing Negative Thought Patterns
When you find yourself in a negative thought pattern just simply decide to stop. Discard the negative thought and replace it with -
"I love and approve of myself", or "All is well in my Life" (Louise Hay).
These words may seem simple but they have an amazingly powerful effect when you use them instead of repetitive negative thoughts, just say over and over again in your mind "I love and approve of myself", or "All is well in my Life" where you would normally have been dwelling on a negative. Put real feeling into these new thoughts. The key is practice.

It may all feel strange to start with; it might even feel like you are lying to yourself, just stick with it, shortly you will begin to absorb your new Healthy way of thinking. You will soon see and experience a big difference in how you feel – if you are persistent. It takes 30 days to change any habit, just 30 days !
Start With Yourself
The most common area in need off address here is your attitude towards yourself. Lack of self love and respect can be pinned down to the root cause of almost every illness. We are Critical, Judgmental and unforgiving towards ourselves more often than towards anyone else.
Why bother with negative thoughts if you can change them to positive ones and therefore feel good rather than feel bad, where ever there is a negative there is a positive – always ! it is simply a case of choosing to see the positive.
A Simple Exercise:
Think of someone you love again, really fill yourself full of love for this person, dwell on this for a moment, now, keeping this feeling, think of yourself. Direct all that love towards you. Repeat to your self –
"I Love Myself, I Approve of myself".
Difficult ??? If so, you really need to practice this, if you can't show yourself love and respect, you are not likely to get it from anyone else!
The Mirror Exercise
Here is a very potent exercise to try with a mirror. Now before you look in the mirror – Again think of a person you really love, fill yourself full of this beautiful love you have for them, let it bubble up inside you. Dwell on this for a moment… When you turn to the mirror you are going to look into your own eyes focusing all this love on YOU and say to yourself with feeling and intention – "I LOVE YOU over and over".
This may be difficult. It is one of the most powerful exercises you can do. You will start to really see yourself for the first time, you will begin to see yourself as an actual person, not just the body that carries you around but someone in need of your respect and love.
If you truly want to transform your health - Do this frequently. Start of by telling yourself how much you love yourself, really begin to fall in love with you – You are Divine you know, we all are, each and every one of us spiritual in creation, so you really have a lot to fall in love with, as you will start to find out!
Now, still looking into your own eyes in the mirror, and talking out loud, take some time to congratulate yourself on your accomplishments, no matter how small.
If you Practice this with Patient Persistence every day you will start to change your habitual negative thoughts, and therefore start to pave the way for new positive health thoughts! –
Which means a New Positive Healthy You !!!
Singing Exercises!
This is one of my favorite ways to express my own love for myself; Find one of your favorite love songs that have positive lyrics and sing it to yourself with great feeling, really imagine you are singing to YOU! If you find a negative word or two in the song simply change it into a positive one and sing!! No one needs to hear you, just sing from the heart as you blanket yourself with love.
Practicing Positive Thought Energy
One of the best times to project positive feeling thought is as you awake, that semi sleep stage, even try a visualization; see yourself surrounded by love and in your best state of health, perhaps introduce a colour – charge it full of vibrant light. It may take a bit of practice to catch yourself in this dreamy state but once you do the outcome is fabulous.
No matter what your circumstances try making a habit of starting the day with positive nurturing present tense thoughts. As I wake up I repeat “All is well in my world” and I project positive energy into my current situations. When I remember to do this my days are charming to experience.
Forgiveness for Health
Now why not start to change the negative thoughts you hold towards others. People you need to forgive for example, or perhaps people that you hold resentment towards. When you start changing negative thoughts you harbour towards others it will literally feel like a weight has been lifted from your shoulders.
I know forgiveness sometimes feels impossible but believe me it is imperative to good health. No one is saying it has to be done right now, all you have to do is take one small step towards forgiveness today, that will then kick start the process within you, which you then gently keep encouraging until you will eventually forgive absolutely.
A good affirmation to try here is –
"It is Safe to Forgive, Forgiveness is Natural". (Louise Hay)

Here is the best anti wrinkle advice available :
For one whole day, do not Think or Speak negatively about anybody, especially yourself.
What you are doing is taking pressure of yourself which then de-stresses the body and you stop screwing up your face, if you do this you are heading for a fabulously peaceful day ! – and You are also decreasing the risk of more wrinkles !!!!
