How this whole Feeling Thought Energy Stuff Works!
Firstly There are 2 levels on which this can be explained:
Internally – Inside you, & Externally – outside you !
Internal Effects of Thought Energy
By dwelling on certain thoughts you prepare yourself for a certain outcome or circumstance. e.g. If you have constantly had the thought “I can’t do that” then your whole body, mind & soul prepares you for an “I can’t do that” outcome. Now on a conscious level it’s not to hard to change these thought patterns because you are aware of them so you can simply choose to change them.
Your subconscious mind however is the “tricky” one because it is a little complex to communicate with, unless you are in hypnosis, meditation, or that dreamy semi sleep state I talk about. Your subconscious will soak up your repeated thoughts, feelings or actions & prepare you quite brilliantly for your expected outcome, for example “I can’t do that”.
So working with repetitive positive affirmations is very important, as in time, if you keep correcting your conscious thoughts by replacing negative thoughts with a positive present tense feeling thought, you will reprogram your subconscious to think positively.
Be aware of your feelings, because although your subconscious thoughts can be hidden away in the depth of your mind, each thought that enters the subconscious will bring with it a feeling………. That’s when you know to step in with your new positive feeling thought! As soon as you feel negative about something - yourself, a situation or another person – simply choose to repeat a positive present tense thought, remember to allow yourself to really feel this new thought.
Other ways to speed up the change in your subconscious thoughts are;
- Practicing the Mirror exercise on the Healthy Thoughts page,
- Writing your new thought with feeling several times morning & night
- Singing your new feeling thoughts to a tune through out the day
- By adopting a regular meditative practice.
External Effects of Thought Energy
Each thought as we now know has a frequency. These thought frequencies react externally with the intelligent Universe (Cosmic Force / God - which ever name you feel comfortable with). This intelligence is present in the very energy that makes up everything within our universe and is very receptive to you because you are part of it. So those repeated thoughts & feelings that you dwell on are reacted to by the universe as a whole, the intelligent universal energy prepares your external world for your expected outcome – do you really still want to stick with the thought “I can’t do that”???
Keep it in the Present
Keeping these new positive thoughts in the present tense is very important. On both the internal & external levels it’s not positive thoughts of “what is going to be” that will make any changes. If your new thoughts are in a repeated future tense, then that’s exactly where your changes will take place - sometime in the future - always out of reach. That is not what you want. Your new deeply felt thoughts have to be in the NOW – in the present tense, so that internally & externally the changes will take place in the present. Keep these new feeling thoughts in the present tense – that’s what makes them happen!
Put Feeling into those Thoughts
It’s not enough just to think these thoughts, you have to put feeling into them & I mean genuinely Charged Feeling. Your internal body & external universe respond much better, much faster to real Charged Feeling Thought.
When you are feeling positively ecstatic about something you almost tingle, right? Think about it, when was the last time you felt that way? Maybe when you received good news, held someone you love, when you were somewhere you could really relax, some people can get that feeling from eating a bar of chocolate!
Ok so now you have that picture in your mind of something that generates an intense feeling of joy - hold onto the feeling you associate with it, remember this feeling. Let yourself produce this feeling whenever you want, so when you are practicing your positive present tense thought, you can really charge it with this positive feeling, imagine sparkles of energy dancing in & around these new thoughts, really go to town with it, the power of this is incredible and it’s the key.
